You’re not into child-porn but you’ve just downloaded some and don’t know what to do


You have started your STOP Plan, but are having a bad day and want to access some child-porn today


You’re just about to sexually touch, photo or film a child  OR  You’re just about to IM or ICQ etc a child for sex


You have already had sexual contact with a child, either physically or online

YOU HAVE JUST DOWNLOADED SOME CHILD-PORN
· you believed you were getting adult porn
· the file name or description might have given you a hint (incest, school..., intergenerational etc)
· you were curious about what child-porn looked like, but don’t want to take it any further
OR
· you’re quite interested in the idea of child-sex, but don’t want to get into it because you think it might start to take over

Step 1 – make sure you can’t access the image(s) again
· delete all the imaged/videos, then
· empty your deleted items/trash folder
· clear your history and your cache/temp Internet files

Step 2 – check out your motivations (see the ‘Quick Links’ above)
· do you have a curiosity about children and sex?
· would you benefit from having a simple plan to prevent downloading again?
· check out the legal consequences - make sure you know where you stand

· encourage children to behave sexually together
Step 1 – change your environment NOW
· turn off your computer
· go for a walk to clear your head
· if needed, try a deep breathing exercise to calm down and think more clearly

Step 3 – tell a responsible adult if you can
· your wife/husband/partner(s)

· you are craving your old child-porn behaviour
· you are feeling stressed
Step 1 – take time to be kind to yourself
· relax, give the Youtube video on the left a go
· go for a walk to clear your head
· look at how much you have achieved already - stick with it

Step 3 – what is the cause?
· do you know why you’re having a bad day?
· what events have led up to today, and what about your thoughts, feelings and actions?
· if  its your sex drive, try this non-sexual masturbation technique:
Get yourself in a safe, private space
Take a moment to be aware that you will be non-sexually masturbating
   - clear your mind
Focus on a non-sexual topic - try to stay focused
Masturbate, staying focused on your non-sexual topic

You may wish to practice this technique when you’re not stressed
so you’re ready when the time comes.
